Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Symposium

On July 17th, 2021, M. Kate Strauss, founding partner of Galvanize Law, along with co-presenter Max Stich of Tiemeier & Stich, presented two ethics continuing legal education sessions for the Colorado Bar Association’s 39th Annual Real Estate Symposium. Kate is an active member of the CBA’s Ethics Committee. Her presentation “Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste: Ethics in Law Firm Culture, Responsibility and Technology After a Remarkable Year” addressed evolving ethical challenges lawyers face in relation to the significant social, political, health and economic events of 2020. Kate discussed the new CLE requirement for equity, diversion, and inclusion, the Black Lives Matter movement and how its mission improves diversity and inclusiveness in the legal profession, as well as the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on technology legal professionals use, their communication with clients, and mentorship of young professionals.
